Where We Work
We partner with companies and groups that meet or do business in Central Florida.
Our volunteer projects happen in a wide variety of settings - workplaces, hotels, local nonprofit organizations, and more.
Most projects occur in Orlando, Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista (Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties).
We bring a positive community impact wherever people gather.

National Role Model for Civic Engagement
Volunteer Orlando’s Chris Allen founded Hands On Orlando in 1999 - transforming an ambitious idea into a volunteer powerhouse. For a generation Hands On Orlando was a national role model for civic engagement.

About Volunteer Orlando
Volunteer Orlando improves the quality of life of people who need help. We tackle Central Florida's most pressing needs through volunteer action.
Our team has helped more than 300 nonprofits, public schools, and parks - engaged over 225,000 volunteers from all 50 States and 60 countries.
Volunteers gain an understanding of community challenges and discover their power to help others succeed. Projects stoke volunteers' passions and desires to become problem-solvers.

Our Secret Sauce
Volunteer Orlando does the heavy lifting. Unlike a referral service, Volunteer Orlando plans, manages and leads all of its projects.
This ensures better outcomes for nonprofit organizations and the people they help, and for volunteers, too.
Our projects succeed because we are detail-oriented, fun, and passionate about our work. (View our Project Planning Playbook.)
Volunteers feel connected because they see the direct impact of their efforts - whether it’s helping a child, a mom, or supporting a shelter, public school, or park in need.
