We plan, manage, and lead corporate and group volunteer projects that accelerate solutions to community problems.
How many people can participate in a volunteer project?
We can accommodate everything from small groups to more than 1,000 people.
How much lead time is needed?
Lead time varies because of project complexity, supplies and tools needed, group size, and location. Some projects can happen in about one week.
Are special skills needed to participate in a volunteer project?
No special skills required. But if your group has tech or trade skills and wants to put them to use, we're all for it.
Do projects involve fundraising, administrative work, political activism, or religious outreach?
No.
Where do projects happen?
Nonprofit organizations account for about one-third of locations. Most projects happen at hotels and workplaces.
What is Volunteer Orlando's geographic service area?
Most volunteer opportunities occur in Orlando, Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista and Lake Mary (Orange, Osceola and Seminole Countries). Our team has led hands-on projects from Daytona Beach to St. Pete Beach.
How does group volunteering compare to traditional team building, like bowling, golfing, or ropes courses?
Our projects help people. Results are tangible and deeply rewarding. Team building occurs naturally as employees work together to complete activities. Everyone takes pride in working for a company that cares about the community.
Why is there a cost? We are donating our time.
Your time is incredibly valuable - and it directly benefits others. The cost covers essentials like supplies, tools, volunteer support, project planning, management, and on-site leadership. These elements are key to delivering a meaningful experience for everyone involved.

Over 300, since 1999.
Does Volunteer Orlando receive government funding or support?
No.
